Vercel AI SDK integration
A proposed integration for teams building AI interfaces with the Vercel AI SDK. The aim is to keep Geonode credentials in server-side tool handlers while returning useful source content to the application.
What it would do
A TypeScript tool example that fits a server-side AI workflow without exposing API keys to the browser.
Register a server-side Geonode tool in the application's tool set.
Validate the requested URL and perform an extraction with the application's credentials.
Return the content and source URL to the model and user interface.
Before it ships
The proposed adapter's API and supported framework versions are not finalized.
Model-provider access and Geonode API usage would be configured separately. Any retrieved web content should be treated as untrusted input.
