CBC Player is an online platform where users can watch and enjoy all CBC content including news, sports, music, and many more. Users can live stream all trending topics with the CBC Player or watch pre-recorded content. CBC Player has many features to help its users, including those with disabilities, have a better watching experience.

As CBC is a Canadian channel, CBC Player is only available in Canada and its residents. If you’re not from Canada, then you will not be able to watch CBC Player shows. Even if you’re from Canada but you travel outside the country, you will also not be able to access CBC Player.

To bypass this restriction and unblock CBC Player from anywhere in the world, you need the help of a CBC Player proxy. A CBC Player proxy can easily change your location by changing your IP to a Canadian IP address. This is possible because a CBC Player proxy will act as an intermediary for you and handle all of your web requests. Any website you visit will only be able to see the IP address of the proxy server and not your own IP. So, by choosing a Canadian proxy, you will have a Canadian IP which gives you total access to CBC Player.

The best and most reliable CBC Player proxies to use would be residential proxies as these types of proxies use residential IPs from actual devices which makes you appear as a genuine user from Canada. Datacenter proxies are also usable because they’re faster, which is great for content streaming, but are also less reliable compared to residential proxies.

Let’s set up a CBC Player proxy server.

Note: Make sure that the web browser you’re using for CBC Player is set to automatically copy your computer’s proxy settings. Google Chrome automatically does this, so it’s recommended to use it.

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Select which proxy IP protocol you want to configure. This depends on which protocols your proxy service provider offers.
  2. Turn on Secure Web Proxy
  3. Input the Proxy Server Address and Port Number
  4. Click OK to save the configurations

Note: You may be prompted for your Mac user password to save your settings.
