Stubhub, or Stubhub Tickets, is a ticket exchange service and ticket resale company where users can buy and sell tickets of all kinds. It has grown into the world’s largest ticket marketplace right now, recently surpassing Ticketmaster. If you want to purchase tickets from Stubhub, then your transaction will be 100 percent guaranteed with their Fan Protect Guarantee.

Purchasing tickets on Stubhub is a competition of whether or not you can buy a ticket before it sells out. This is especially true for the best tickets of a popular event which sells out moments of it becoming available. If you’re not fast enough, you will not be able to purchase any tickets. This is why you need a ticket bot to purchase tickets for you. Ticket bots expedite the purchasing process and lets you buy and pay for multiple tickets in just a couple of seconds. For ticket bots to actually function though, you would need a Stubhub proxy.

The rise of ticket scalping and scalpers have made Stubhub, and any other ticket site, employ strict restrictions against the use of ticket bots on their site. If your ticket bot gets detected, then your Stubhub account and your IP address will get immediately banned and blacklisted from their site. A Stubhub proxy will prevent this from happening.

A Stubhub proxy, or simply a regular ticket proxy, will hide your IP address and any website you visit will only see the IP address of the proxy server you’re using. Through rotating proxies, you can continuously change the IP address of your proxy server multiple times. Anytime your bot purchases a ticket, Stubhub and any other ticket website will think that instead of your bot, a different user is sending that request.

The best Stubhub proxies would be a residential proxy as this type of proxy uses residential IPs from actual devices making it appear as if your ticket bot requests come from real users that are located in various regions. This also ensures that Stubhub will not be able to recognize that you’re using a proxy and thus, will not ban your account or blacklist your IP address. Datacenter proxies, although faster than residential proxies, are not secure enough to ensure that Stubhub will not be able to recognize that you’re using a bot.

Let’s set up a Stubhub proxy server.

  2. Turn on Use setup script
  3. Enter the script address
  4. Click Save

If you chose the second option, then:

  1. Turn on Use a proxy server
  2. Input both server address and port number

This should then redirect you to MacOS proxy settings. MacOS is more straightforward compared to windows. You only have one option which is to manually configure your proxy server.

Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Select which proxy IP protocol you want to configure. This depends on which protocols your proxy service provider offers.
  2. Turn on Secure Web Proxy
  3. Input the Proxy Server Address and Port Number
  4. Click OK to save the configurations

Note: You may be prompted for your Mac user password to save your settings.

For Mobile:

To set up a mobile Stubhub proxy server, simply change your phone’s proxy settings. The mobile browser you’re using for Stubhub will automatically copy your phone’s proxy settings whenever you use it. This is applicable for both Android and iOS. Here’s a thorough guide for Android and another one for iPhone.

Congratulations! You have now finished configuring a Stubhub proxy server. Note that the first time you visit it, there will be a pop up asking for your login credentials.

Note: Make sure that the web browser you’re using for Stubhub is set to automatically copy your computer’s proxy settings. Google Chrome automatically does this, so it’s recommended to use it.
